Amit Shah to kick off BJP's campaign in Karnataka with yatra

New Delhi, Oct 31 (PTI): BJP chief Amit Shah will kick off the party's campaign in Karnataka, which goes to polls early next year, by flagging off an 84-day 'yatra' led by its chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa.

Shah will flag off the 'yatra' on November 2 in Bengaluru in the presence of various state leaders and Union ministers, sources in the party said.

The yatra is expected to cover more than 7,500 km passing through all the 224 constituencies in the state. It will conclude on January 28, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public rally in Bengaluru, they said.

The party has already announced that Yeddyurappa, currently the party's state unit president, would be its chief ministerial candidate for Karnataka.

An influential Lingayat leader, he had led the saffron party to its maiden victory in the southern state in 2008, but had to resign following charges of corruption against him.

Yeddyurappa floated his own outfit in 2011 following his differences with the then central leadership of the party.

Though his party performed poorly in the 2013 Assembly polls, it managed to wean away a substantial chunk of the BJP votes, leading to a rout of the saffron party. But later, he returned to the BJP fold ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha election.

The assembly elections in the state are likely to witness a three-way fight between ruling Congress, the BJP and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda-led JD(S).

The elections in the state assume significance as they would be held just a year ahead of the general election.

Amit Shah just like Yaddy you were also in Jail for a long period and fake encounter case has been proved against you. We dont want any fake encounters in Karnataka like Gujarat.
Gujarat development model has bombed. So, what you are having to offer to Kannadigas anything constrictive ?

Mr. Amit Shah what you are having to offer for the Karnataka people? Because Modi himself has admitted that his Gujarat Model was a failure and other states are far ahead of Gujarat in terms of all round development . Just see what Modi said in last five years on various occasions :-.

In 2013 Modi said that his Gujarat Model of Development is Best in India.
In 2014 Modi told that He will develop India like Gujarat.
In 2015 Modi told that he will develop Maharashtra like Gujarat
in 2016 Modi told he will develop Bihar like Gujarat.
In 2017 February, Modi told that he will develop Uttar Pradesh like Gujarat.

But in 2017 October, during Gujarat Election campaign , the same Modi is telling that Congress did NOT allow him to Develop Gujarat at all , that is why his Gujarat is still backward and ranked 12th in the index of development , and Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Punjab are far far ahead of Gujarat in actual development.
This way Modi has openly admitted that the "Gujarat Model development" during his Chief Minister-ship for 13 years, was just a fake publicity.
Now "fake encounter specialist" like Ambit shah is telling that Karnataka will be developed like Gujarat if his party is voted to power in Karnataka.

After BJP came to power in india it has done nothing but trouble to common people. Amit Shah is well aware the fact that BJP will vanish after 2019. So he has made all the arrangements for his future life by transferring tax payers money into the account of his son Jay Shah. So Amit shah will have a brighter future even if BJP loose in 2019. All this yatra business is nothing but hogwash. People without any principles or values joining together with the sole intention of coming to power and looting the country. Politics is truly the last refuge of scoundrels. Why all this yatra? If you are genuinely good, people will certainly vote for you. There is no need to induce them. This is just a waste of time and money.

We Kannadigas don't want communal 'Yatras' in Karnataka shouting slogans and inciting public for votes.
We want to BJP to speak about development which they have promised in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
The abrupt withdrawal of BJP national president Amit Shah from the ‘Jana Raksha Yatra’ in Kerala suggests even the BJP recognises its failure.
As chief minister, Narendra Modi had launched namesake ‘Gaurav Yatra’ in 2002 soon after the post-Godhra riots. But 2017 is not same for BJP. This time Pandemonium broke out during the Gujarat Gaurav Yatra in state forests and environment minister Ganpat Vasava's constituency Mangrol when workers of Bhilistan Tiger Sena (BTS) hurled eggs at the podium and flung chairs around in the pandal on evening.
The nation has already seen enough bloodshed and destruction by these Yatra which was earlier initiated during LK Advani bloody wheels of 'Rath Yatra'. This seeds sow by him is now grown into big creeper sucking the blood out of citizens of India.
After four years of BJP ruling in center party has proven that BJP can't win any elections without casteism, criminal, communal and corruption.
As far as 'development' and 'corruption free India' main poll plank has already sidestepped.
Yatra are the only means for BJP to deflect the attention from actual issues and its failures

This same BJP Karnataka now want services of an outsider to campaign for the election in Karnataka. Yeddyurappa who floated his party and returned back to BJP, shameless fellow.
Shameless BJP injecting a person who had left the party and also to the extent of floating his own party now is the president of the party's state unit . Might be again the CM only for a few months if BJP comes to power. History repeats itself.
