Chitradurga: Focus on farmers, not Tipu Jayanthi - Deve Gowda to govt

Chitradurga, Oct 23 (PTI): Former prime minister H D Deve Gowda on Monday advised the government to focus on providing succour to farmers in distress instead of wasting time by raking up a controversy over celebrating Tipu Jayanthi.

He was speaking to reporters after visiting agriculture fields affected by pests at Bharamasagara in the taluk.

Gowda said he would take up the issue of farmers with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The central and state governments should stop blaming each other unnecessarily, the JD(S) supremo said.

Gowda also took a dig at the BJP, which has organised a Parivarthan rally across the state.

Very correct, in this matter, Shri. Deve Gowda is 100% right.
Everybody knows what happened to Sanjay Khan for making the Film on TIPU & Vijay Malya for buying Tipu's Sword ! Gowda's son Kumaraswamy also celebrated Jayanthi!
Latest victim Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party, named himself TIPU, was routed in UP like never before!

All those years you were CM you preferred to sleep and when awake chased Sonia to bag the PM
    job!

Your advice to Siddhu is very appropriate - but you didn't follow your own gut and sound advice and when you had so many chances you and your sons squandered, quarreled and did nothing to Kannadigas - Now you have Big plans? More of the same all tall promises, Thota shingara volage goli
    soppu!
