First sentence is correct...rest is somewhat confusing.Every doctor has his own assessment based on consultation with the medical team .AIIMS has excellent medical team and individual opinion is least heard. This is general opinion as I am not a doctor or related to medical profession.

    Angiography followed with angioplasty.
According to Dr B M Hegde, the procedure itself is not necessary but are extensively carried out as an industry depends on the same.
Anyway President, vice President & P M needs to be treated proactively as its a question of leaders health & national interest first.

Your first sentence is correct & rest is as per your admission is based on hearsay or limited to your individual understanding.

Just read or listen to Dr B M Hegde on youtube & decide whether he is right or wrong, what he said 40 years back is proving right now. Nothing is perfect or the best possible treatment as doctors are taught by Medical Colleges, the books & procedures are based on past experiences as well as Pharmaceutical Industry sponsored studies & practices.

You can also get more information on Cancer as well as Cardiology scams overriding the health aspect but with more interest of commercial gains as per Honorable Dr B M Hegde.
I know he is honest & the best with practical knowledge in the field.
