Mangaluru Oct 17: “Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) condemns the attack on software engineer Nandini by miscreants after she complained about illegal cow slaughter in Bengaluru,” said Jagadish Shenava from VHP.

Addressing media here on Tuesday October 17, VHP district president Jagadish Shenava demanded stringent action against police constables who ran away instead of shielding Nandini.

He also demanded their resignation. “Police need to provide security for cow protectors,” Shenava said.

"Mangaluru city mayor Kavitha Sanil is known for courage by raiding illegal activities in the city. We urge her to take initiative in stopping illegal cow slaughters which are being run without any fear in the city. If Mayor Kavitha Sanil takes this step, then people will definitely praise her,”

"As Deepavali celebration is a day away, devotees will worship cows as part of Hindu rituals. We have arranged cow worshipping programme in 120 places in Mangaluru. We request the devotees to take part in these programmes," he concluded.

VHP Secretary Gopal Kuthar, Bajrang Dal district convenor Bhujanga Kulal, Umesh Jappinamogaru and Praveen were present.

    how many goshalas are functioning in dk and udupi so that people can leave their unproductive cattle at goshalas for a reasonable compensation?

    compensation should be provided to sustain the farmer economically to buy a younger productive cattle.

    As the Karnataka state assembly elections are nearing and With only 18 months to go for the elections Lok Sabha elections, the BJP seems to have decided to abandon the ' vikas plank' and go back to full-throated Hindutva and minority baiting.
    If Vishwa Hindu Parishad is really worship 'Gau mata' let them write open letter Prime Minister Modi and Ministry of Economy affairs and ask them to stop 'beef exports' instead of city Mayor.
    Lastly, Instead of press conference please dedicate one day a week cleaning cow sheds and water clogged streets.
    When BJP has no issues to prove their development,they will try to divert u to Taj Mahal,Triple Talaq, and cow, u keep asking them questions about health, education, dampening economy & unemployment.
    Now all the 'saffron terror' accused are on bail, the false flag of terror can't be ruled before the elections can't be ruled out.

    I appreciate the Mayor to take the steps to issue permits to cattle slaughterhouses in all the Taluks so as to reduce rising prices of meat in the twin district markets.


    I ALSO URGE THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER TO SELL THE CATTLE FROM THE GAU SHAALAS IF ANY IN KARNATAKA.

    I URGE SIDDHARAMAIAH TO INCREASE CATTLE AND SHEEP FARMS IN THE STATE OF KARNATAKA.
