Bantwal: CM Siddaramaiah to dedicate development works on October 22

Bantwal, Oct 16: Karnataka chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah, is scheduled to inaugurate various development works which have been made possible on account of special interest evinced by Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, B Ramanath Rai, at 11 am on October 22. Thereafter, the CM will inaugurate and address a public meeting being organized at KSRTC ground, B C Road.

Different works executed out of Rs 30 crore received by the local legislative constituency by way of grants will be inaugurated by the CM on that day. He will inaugurate Mini Vidhana Soudha, new KSRTC bus stand, Mescom office building, government hospital with one hundred bed facility, drinking water scheme in the municipal limits, and buildings, the works of which have been completed.

Siddaramaiah will also lay foundation stones for Kavishishya Panje Mangesh Rao auditorium construction, Kadeshivalaya - Ajilamogaru harmony bridge, multi-village drinking water project and three other development works.

A team of district level officials has already completed the inspection of spot where the function would be held. The work of beautifying the town for the CM's arrival is being undertaken now.
