Mumbai, Oct 16: A collection of stories in Tulu, 'Gaggara' written by well known poet Shimanthooru Chandrahasa, Abhiyana, a collection of poems in Kannada and Jeetige, a collection of Tulu poems written by Sharada Anchan in the form of books on Sunday evening, October 15 were released at Santacruz east, Pejavar Math auditorium.

Assistant editor of Akshaya monthly magazine, Harish Hejmady, author and writer Dr Karunaker Shetty Paniyoor and Dr G P Kusuma introduced the works respectively and conveyed their best wishes.

Artist Devadas Shetty, Shakuntala K Kotian, Dr Raviraj Suvarna, S K Sunder, Harish G Poojary Kokkarne, Keshava Poojary, Chitrapu K M Kotian, Arusha N Shetty, Bhasker V Salian, Sachidananda Shetty, film producer Venugopal Shetty, Mahesh Karkal, Sathish N Bangera and other elite present on the occasion congratulated the authors of the books. Saraswathi Chandrahasa Suvarna of Pooja Prakashan, Poojashree C Suvarna, Anand V Anchan, Ranjith Suvarna, Lalitha Kotian, Hema Haridas and Veena Poojary presented flowers to the guests and honored them.



Sharada A Anchan sang a prayer song. Navin Karkera welcomed the gathering, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Krishnaraj Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
