Speeding Uber cab kills one in Bengaluru, driver escapes from spot

Bengaluru, Oct 14 (Agencies): A speeding car killed one and seriously injured another at Hosur Road - elevated flyover here on Saturday October 14.

The Uber cab was travelling at high speed towards Electronic City. The driver lost control and hit the side wall and then a bike.

The impact was such that the rider and the pillion on the bike were thrown off the flyover. One of them died on the spot and another is battling for his life at St John Hospital.

The cab driver escaped from the spot soon after the accident.

The police have recovered documents from the car.

A case has been registered.

    When they cant control the cab ,then let it be .Dont take the life of others and save yours.He is complete a coward.May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.wish the other all the best.Now cab union should pay the family the compansation ,even to the injured.Dont they have any cctv ,that can reveal the driver?Put him in jail

    seriously these Uber drivers need to set their speed at 60 by government, These people think they are king of roads and perfect drivers, Goes on a rash speed and takes turn without seeing or actually caring for other drivers
