Mangaluru: Chakravarthy Sulibele slams Roshan Baig for comments on PM Modi, to launch campaign

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Oct 13: Yuva Brigade leader and orator Chakravarthy Sulibele on Friday, October 13, condemned the alleged abusive language used by urban development minister R Roshan Baig.

It may be recalled, Roshan Baig at a general meet of the Congress party at Pulakesi in Bengaluru, had allegedly used abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that people who were praising him after elections were 'cursing' him for demonetisation.

Sulibele said, "This is shameful. The words Roshan Baig used do not suit a man holding a respectable position. He also linked PM Modi with a woman. He used the words 'Gujarati' and 'Marwadi' to directly insult people belonging to these communities."

"District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai used some bad words against me last month. But I ignored the incident. I feel that these people are using such abusive words against their opponents as a pre-planned agenda. However, the Prime Minister does not represent any party. He represents the nation. So we will start a campaign against Roshan Baig for his comments on PM Modi," he added.

"We have planned the campaign #Iammodi. I invite everyone to join this campaign. Roshan Baig with his bad language has insulted our state. Now the entire nation will think that all Kannadigas use abusive language," he said.

"I came to know that some are going to file a complaint against the minister, but we will not be doing this. We will hold nationwide campaign #IamModi. Criticism is allowed by the Constitution, but insulting one on a public stage is a grave offence," he said.

    Dear All,
In India every citizen have right to comment on his own way with in culture and the result should not come out with criminal activity against any one. What we observe from the past his if some one comments, writes the real the opponent will revoke with his criminal act.For example recent murder of Gowry Lankesh and others. Is it the right way decency of a politician and his party. Why we require such criminal backing leaders why we need to spend our valuable times with such people why the media listening to such criminal brand leaders comments.
We at Karnataka with such a famous education institutions not require such criminal backing groups or their representatives.

People criticize when something goes wrong. what was the need to tell lies and come to power? How many lakhs of rupees deposited in commoners'account as promised during election ? or the money has gone to only some sons of BJP leaders?. Commoners have been put to great difficulties like demonetization and other showbazis without having good results. Some people who are experts in speeches jut brainwash people with all the lies. Now people feel that congress people may be corrupt but they never put poor common people in difficulty.

Ok ok... it's great to hear, the words used by Beig hurt Feku Bhakths too. Do they think before using words against opposition leaders/supporters, which are bad than Beigs ?

But... personally I disapprove such bad language irrespective of any party leaders

Is it not hurtful and disrespectful to them. Why then problen when not so mannered people are named. When you can give learn to take also. The Golden Rule is " do unto others as you would have done to you."

Wait, so... if Suli's argument "Criticism is allowed by the Constitution, but insulting one on a public stage is a grave offence" is accepted, what about Rahul Gandhi and Former Honourable Prime Minister Manmohan Singh?
We all know who were behind the RG and MMS jokes right?
By Suli's argument, he is contradicting himself.
We are definitely heading towards a North Korean regime... Soon we might end up with a fate worse than North Korea.

Words once spoken can not be taken back...
    They become evidence and history...
Politicians in public life must be a role model to lot of youngsters who look up to them for directions...
They must instead speak on issues relating to people's lives...
Personal targeting must be avoided at all levels across party lines...
