Kasargod: Sand-laden lorry topples on house while trying to escape from police

Kasargod, Oct 10: A lorry transporting sand illegally toppled on a house while trying to flee from police through inside road. The incident took place at Pilikunje Amai road on Tuesday morning, October 10.

The members in the house miraculously escaped unhurt.

Policemen were inspecting vehicles when they signalled torus lorry laden with sand. But the lorry fled. Police chased the lorry but the suspects drove it on the inside road. The lorry toppled on the house belonging to Sugandi on Pilikunje-Amai road. Those in the lorry fled.

The house was damaged. Kasargod city police have seized the lorry and are investigating.
