Dubai: Band Charitra to perform live in concert on April 13

Dubai, Oct 8: Cornerstone Events, known to nurture and provide platform to young Konkan artistes, is hosting Band Charitra in its first-ever concert in Dubai.

The musical extravaganza will be held on April 13, 2018 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, The Indian High School, Oud Metha from 5:30 pm onwards.

Band Charitra - a desi rock band is buzzing the global stage with huge fan following across the region. The band has over 200 concerts, two albums 'Dosti' and 'Chintnam' to its credit already.


Band Charitra profile:

Loy Valentine Saldanha (music producer / keyboardist / vocalist): A certified engineer in music production and sound design from A R Rahman’s Institute Audio Media, Chennai.

Melwyn Antony D'Souza (song writer / lead vocalist): Has pursued his degree In Carnatic music, art and culture.

Patson Pereira (music producer / lead guitarist): A qualified sound engineer in music production and audio technologies from SAE Institute of Audio Engineering, Malaysia.

Ian Sachin Saldanha (drummer / percussions / vocalist): Hailed as a child prodigy, Sachin started performing in live concerts at the age of 14.

Rikith Soans (bass guitarist / vocalist): Earned the certificate of western music (grade 5) from Trinity College of London (TLC) in 2012.
