Mangaluru: Biruver Kudla holds tiger dance to raise funds for patients, donates Rs 3 lacs

Mangaluru, Oct 1: In a noble gesture, on the occasion of Mangaluru Dasara, Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla team organized a special tiger dance show for the medical
aid of three at Ballalbagh on Saturday, September 30.

The tiger dance of Friends Ballalbagh mesmerized the audience with variety of tiger dances and stunts. After the one and half hours of dance they collected Rs three lacs and distributed it to two kidney patients and a polio patient for their medical aid.



Mumbai based businessman, Venkatesh Bhandary, contributed Rs one lac on the spot and said “I am impressed with the working style of Biruver Kudla. Their attitude towards society is an eye opener for us. I have heard from the past three years that they have been helping the needy and organizing the programmes for good causes. I salute them and assure all my support for their future projects.”

Prakash Pandeshwar, who handed the amount to the needy, said, “This is a meaningful programme by Biruver Kudla. We the people of Mangaluru know about Biruver Kudla. Within three years of its inception, they are quite well known in city and district. Their good intention towards society has made them popular among people. I wish all success for them in their future programs.”

Yogesh Bhat, priest Jappinamogaru temple, graced the programme and said, “This is a holy day for all of us. With good deeds only, we can we become holy. Biruver Kudla brought holiness to this city with a noble gesture. I wish speedy recovery of all patients who received aid from this stage.”

Pramod Ballalbagh honourary president of Biruver Kudla, Uday Poojary, founder president, Abhishek Amin, Rakesh Poojary, Deepu Shettigar were present on the dais.
