Kasargod: Man accused of attempting to murder daughter-in-law

Kasargod, Sep 26: Police personnel of Chittarikal station have registered a case of murder attempt against Narayanan from Kunnungai. Narayanan has been accused of mixing rat poison to tea in an attempt to kill his daughter-in-law.

The lady against the life of whom an attempt was made, happens to be Praseeda (39), wife of Manoj. Praseeda stands admitted into Pariyaram Medical College Hospital in serious condition. In the meantime, the accused has disappeared.

Praseeda's husband, Manoj, had left for work, while her daughter had gone to school on Monday September 25 when the incident happened. Narayanan has been accused of mixing rat poison to the utensil with water which Praseeda had placed over the stove for making tea for herself. Praseeda, who was not aware about the impending danger, consumed tea and fell seriously ill. The locals admitted her into hospital.

    Horrible.why he did it ?to get rid of daughter i law and bring a new one with lot of money?He is not a human but a psychiatric person ,killer.when found give him the rest tee if left.or life time prison .Hope this lady will survive.poor children.
