Local BJP woman leader slaps girl for being friendly with Muslim youth

Aligarh (UP), Sep 22 (PTI): A local woman BJP leader purportedly slapped a girl here for being friendly with a youth from the minority community, a video of which went viral on social media.

The youth in question was arrested on charges of "obscenity" in public place and released later on bail, according to police officials.

The incident, in which BJP's Aligarh city convenor Sangeeta Varshney allegedly slapped the girl twice, took place on Tuesday when she saw her having tea with the youth, according to the police.

In the video which has gone viral on social media, Varshney is heard saying, "Tere ko samajhmeinnahiaataakaun Hindu hai, kaun Musalmaan hai. Pyaar sesamajhaarahee hoon, samajh hee meinnahi aa raha. (Don't you understand who is a Hindu and who is a Muslim. I am politely making this clear, but even then it seems that you are not getting it)."

When contacted today, Varshney told PTI, "I do not have any problems with Muslims. But, we have a problem with their policy of alluring Hindu girls (Humme Musalmaano se koi shikayatnahi hai, hummeunkibargalaane ki neetiseshikayat hai)."

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajesh Pandey yesterday said that after the slapping incident, a case under relevant sections of the IPC pertaining to obscenity at a public place was registered against the youth.

He was arrested but later released on bail, Pandey told PTI.

The SSP also said that the girl's father arrived on the spot and took her away after declaring that he and his family did not wish to make an issue.

"Both the girl and her father do not want any action against anyone in the case and they gave this in writing to the police," Pandey said.

Why this BJP leader is not arrested ? Which constitution has given her authority to slap another citizen ? Why no suo moto complaint taken by authorities ?

BJP follows Anukoola Shashtra (Rule of convenience) Two big Muslim leaders have married Hindu women. That is acceptable. Cow meat not allowed in India, but Indian cow meat can be consumed by people throughout the world. I get in this corner of the world, the Indian cow meat. Double standard practised.

    Religions will not last long...
With changing mindsets and globalisation future young will be different...
Human to human interaction if it is adult and within law of the land must be permitted...
Muslim girl and other religion boy too will fall in this bracket...
Reason must prevail in all cases...
    But this will never happen...
Because we are still a racist world...
Parents think children are their property even after spouses are grown above marriageable age...
And are happy to get their daughters married with dowry to the so called same caste boy and will even watch eventual lynching of their most loved treasure...

In a complex world India & gulf countries need each other for many reasons. Is it permissible in Gulf for a Hindu boy to be in a relationship with a local muslim lady? Can a Hindu do dawaa or propogation of his religion in these countries? Are the Gulf leaders not coming here?. Do they not want customers for their oil? Rules of permissibility is not a one way street. In western countries they do not make it an issue therefore they falling in love with hindu ladies is OK.
