Mangaluru, Sep 21: Students of BCom of St Aloysius College, batch of 1989, on Wednesday, September 20 handed over a cheque of of Rs 13.5 lac to the rector, Fr Dionysius Vas, in a simple ceremony.
The amount was fund raised towards a student’s scholarship fund.
C A Chandramohan and C A Vijaykumar Shetty represented the 1989 B Com batch.
On behalf of the college, principal Fr Dr Praveen Martis, registrar Dr A M Narahari, finance officer Fr Pradeep Sequeira, and other officials were present.
Last year, the students had a get–together in the college after 25 years.
