Beltangady, Sep 21: A Hero Honda Splendour Bike was involved with collision with Honda Dio two-wheeler coming from opposite direction near the Bhajana Mandir at Kallakote, Arasinamakki village near Kokkada in the taluk on the evening of Tuesday September 20, one of the bike riders was killed in this accident. The man who lost his life in this fashion was Balanna Gowda (45), son of the late Annu Gowda from Shibaraje Mapaltimar in Kalenja village.
Balanna was going home after visiting Arasinamakki downtown when a Honda Dio two-wheeler which approached him from the opposite direction hit him. Balanna suffered serious injury to his chest. He passed away when being taken to a hospital.
The victim is survived by wife and two sons. A case about the accident was registered in Dharmasthala police station.
