Mangaluru: Woman falls down two-wheeler, breathes her last

Mangaluru, Sep 21: A woman fell down from a two-wheeler at Kuthar near Deralakatte here on Tuesday September 19. The victim has been identified as Nalini (40) from Kulai Vidyanagar.

Nalini was seated in the pillion of a two-wheeler that was driven by Manjunath Acharya from Amblamogaru, when the accident happened. When both were moving towards Kuthar at 5.30 pm on Tuesday, the vehicle suddenly skidded and fell on one side of the road. Nalini who fell down in this incident, suffered serious injuries. Although she was admitted into a hospital and treated, she did not respond, and her end came on the same night.

Nalini, it is learnt, was on a visit to her sister  living at Amblamogaru. On her return to Kulai, her nephew, Manjunath Acharya, was taking her towards Kuthar to enable her to board a bus to Kulai, when the accident happened.

A case about this accident was filed in traffic (south) city police station.
