    Mr.rajesh, Mangalore
    Sir, Nobody is arguing on your skills of vegetable selling or PM Modi's past. But it is not my account but government official release to the RTI reply.

    Chai pe charcha is nothing but 'fake degrees' which they can't justify.Gentleman, please try to understand the difference between right and wrongs. Selling 'chai' for living is not a shame. But justifying the things which you haven't done is unacceptable.

    Please dont insult AG & CAGs of India. The money coming from tax collections are duly audited and it goes to the Consolidated fund of India. Tax collections does not go to the account of BJP. the same is the case of duties & taxes on petroleum products. Some of the commentrators in this forum talk as though thereis one bank account of BJP where all these sums are credited. Direct taxes & indirect taxes are paid through Banking channels there fore the scope to make money in receipts side is not there at all. Coruuption happens on expenditue side. how the money is utilised. wether there are kickbacks on contracts, wether undue favours are made to some people etc. Taxing the rich is not a crime. I would not say there is zero corruption but there is no big ticket corruptions as we had in the second term of UPA govt.

    Dear Mr Joseph,

    Ambani & Adani grew when Congress was in power. They are rich people. if they can buy BJP as you allege they can buy Congress too and have their work done. I have not found in any mainstream media that there was huge cash depoited by Ambanis & Adanis in BJP account. can you please give the link of mainstream newspapers to back your claims. then i too will agree as i am not a sellout fan of BJP but an issue based backer of the party. empty rhetorics are a product of frustration.

    VAIBHAVEEKARANAM MOORKALAKSHANAM......Mr modi got success in fooling the public just by colourful useless speeches. Its the way of looting excess money from tax payers pocket through high petrol prices when its just can be sold at below fifty rupees as per global market. Demonitisation even brought some worse effects like large number of medical and engineering colleges seats are vacant. No foreign investment at all. A hospital in UP has no funds to provide oxygen but mr modi dreaming about bullet train. HANDLING A NATION IS NOT LIKE HANDLING TEA STALL.

    When Prime Minister Narendra Modi won the elections with a sweeping majority in 2014, the whole Internet almost went on a mission to showcase Modi's humble background. How he sold tea when he was young, how he had to face hardships and how he apparently swept floors for a living.

    A black-and-white photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a broom and cleaning floor had gone viral. In fact, BJP supporters used this particular picture in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls as a part of their election campaign.

    He lied to the whole Public of India, Govt. of India and in fact to the U.S. President Obama even that he used to sell tea on a stall at Railway Station in his childhood.

    Now the question to be raised is that why did Modi boasted that he was a tea seller ? Even if he makes an excuse that he was assistant of his father, can he show the proof?

    Only God and his Dad knows if he was really a tea seller or not, all others are either manipulating or unknown to the fact, but speaking in support of Modiji. From where will we bring his dad now?

    There is no record available that shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a tea-seller on railway platforms or trains during his childhood, an RTI query has revealed.

    Deaths due to diabetes increased 50% in India between 2005 and 2015, and is now the seventh most common cause of death in the country, up from the 11th rank in 2005, according to data published by the Global Burden of Disease (GDB).Since most of the healthcare cost is borne out of pocket in India, those in lower economic groups have to bear the greatest burden. Urban poor spend as much as 34% while rural poor spend 27% of their income on diabetes treatment, the study found.
    India is predicted to have 123 million diabetes cases aged between 20 and 79 by 2040, according to estimates by IDF.
    Birthday may have some meaning if they have pledged their organs for needy or donated blood instead of free 'Chai' with sugar.

    @SMR ji,

    Must agree with your writing skills. However......

    Ans: Mani shankar Aiyer was the one who made Chaiwala Modi famous and due to which the famous Tag line "CHAI PE CHARCHA"came out.

    this is what happened;

    "I have sold tea at the railway station and in running trains ...those selling tea in trains know more about railways than the minister," Modi had said at a rally in Patna. (Jan 2014)

    And Mani Shankar Aiyar said the below lines. (Jan 18th 2014)
    "I promise you in 21st Century Narendra Modi will never become the Prime Minister of the country. ...But if he wants to distribute tea here, we will find a place for him," Aiyar said at the venue of the AICC meeting

    (information courtesy :Firstpost)

    Congress is just making the job easy for BJP. which ideally they should not they have to be a strong opposition and not a foolish opposition.

    India can only develop when both Govt. and Opposition work for the people rather than just trying to gain on brownie points.

    I cannott understand your Logic. Why would anyone keep a photo of selling tea in childhood. My father and we as children together sold "basale" tulu equivalent to some kind of spinach grown within our coutyard to our nreighbours. However we do not have any proof for that claim in form of photots. you expect some proof for events that are nearly 50 year old.

    The records such as registrations do not give a true pitchure as to who sold tea . you can be an employee under a registered person. There could many other explanations too. those were 50 55 years old.

    By the way it was the Congres trying to belittle a persson coined the word chaiwaala as they beleive only rich dynasts should rule the country.
