Bengaluru, Sep 17: State primary and secondary education minister, Tanveer Sait, appears to be happy at courting one controversy or the other. Sait, who was accused of watching porn material when seated in a dais connected with Tipu Jayanthi celebrations in the past, is now mired in fresh controversy.
Sait was allegedly seen embracing a woman Congress leader openly and pinching her cheek when returning after taking part in a meeting at the office of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) here. When moving towards his car from KPCC office, Tanveer came face to face with the said former minister and party leader when he reportedly embraced her.
He then pinched the cheek of another female leader of the party and continued to hold her hand till he boarded his car. This behaviour of the minister gave rise to an air of confusion among the people who had assembled at the KPCC office for sometime.
It may e recalled that in the recent past, Silk Board chairman, K T Ramesh, had to step down after his act of placing his hand over MLC, Veena Achaiah, and passing it over softly at a district level public function was caught by cameras and spread far and wide throurgh social websites.
