Bahrain, Sep 14: Guru Seva Samiti - Bahrain Billawas, a socio-cultural community organization, celebrated the 163rd Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jayanti in a grand ceremony held at the Karnataka Social Club Hall, Kingdom of Bahrain on September 8.
As many as 200 devotees attended the programme along their families. Mass Bhajans were recited by the members of the association.
Special Bhajananrthya, a hymn dance performance by the members was the prime attraction of the programme.
During the event, Bahrain Billawas president Ajith Bangera distributed books on sacred messages from Brahmashree Narayana Guru.
The pooja rituals were performed by Sri Jaya Prakash Bengre followed by Maha Anna Santarpana.
As part of the 163rd Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jayanti, for the first time in the kingdom, Bahrain Billawas held Nagara Bajane and Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jaatha on September 2, 2017.
