Puttur: Outbursts against PM - Police complaint filed against Jignesh Mevani

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Sep 14: Arunkumar Puttila, leader of Pro-Hindu organizations, filed a complaint in the city police station here on Wednesday September 13 against social activist, Jignesh Mevani from Gujarat. In his complaint, Puttila urged the police to take legal action against Mevani for his outbursts against Prime Minister (PM) and central government at a programme organized at Bengaluru to condemn the killing of Gauri Lankesh.

"Mevani has alleged that the PM and union government are responsible for the death of Gauri Lankesh. Mevani has indulged in an act of treason by branding the PM of the country as a murderer. It is wrong to make statements publicly at a time when investigation into Gauri's murder is in progress, as per the observation of the court. Jignesh Mevani has violated this court order in making the above statement," Puttila said in the complaint.

Puttila said that Mevani is guilty of making false allegation against the PM, making derogatory statements about the PM's mother and issuing anti-national statements by transgressing the order of the court. He has sought immediate arrest of the accused and investigation into the allegation made against him.

Politicians are servants of people of India. So they should be ready for any criticism. People will talk good about you if you do good and talk bad when you do bad. Politicians are being elected by people. So they are people's representatives. They are not dictators. They are answerable to Indian public. If you don't want to hear anything bad then come out of politics. All expenses of these politicians are being paid by public and we know how luxurious life they are having. Coming back to criticism on Modi....Does Modi remembers how he used to mock previous PM Dr. Manmohan Singh? I don't care if someone talks anything about Rahul Gandhi but not to Dr. Manmohan Singh. Dr Singh is the architect of modern India along with then PM P.V. Narasimharao. For me PVN and Manmohan Singh government was the best that happened and I know how they brought back Indian economy on tracks which was screwed by previous governments. Economy is in bad shape now as well thanks to incompetent finance minister Jaitely.

BJP used social media in negative way to win last election & now it is back firing at them!

People started reminding FEKU on his promises and election agenda, every minute on social media now. Sighting the impact, DAKU has instructed Bhakths, "Don't Fall Prey to Anti-BJP Propaganda on Social Media"

Nation had tasted dictatorship during 1975 -77 when even to utter the name, “Indira” was an offence. I remember a poor man was taken into custody for saying, “I will vote my wife Indira…...” Upon investigation it was revealed that his wife’s name too was Indira and was let off with a warning the next day. Today the scenario is quite different, its free for all – bindas – anybody can say or write anything about the present PM. People seem to be taking undue advantage and misusing the freedom and liberty that has been gifted by the country’s constitution. Can one dare to speak against their leader in countries like China or North Korea?

How come when a Dalit leader criticizes a PM it becomes treason for Sanghis... Does Modi mean India.... Who should he criticize ?? Rahul Gandhi like Republic and Times Now does..
At least Rahul recently took questions why our P.M is so scared of open press conference rather than does his conversation only through scripted sanghi journalists like Arnob...
Mewani criticized modi because those people who rejoiced over Gauri's death where the one Modi used to follow on Twitter I.e his base ...did followers of Rahul,Pinarayi Vijayan or Siddaramiah rejoice over the death
When Modi said in foreign soil" Indians were ashamed of themselves before he took his office "didnt it amount to treason for any Sanghis
None of the earlier PM or leaders has ever made such a statement mocking their own country but that doesnt amount to treason but criticising Modi is treason in New India

Pls don’t make biased comments so that people reject your claim by default!!! Do you want to justify the critics….then do it without supporting for any political party or without targeting any particular religion or cast… Else you too become one of the Political critics…rather than called as a social critics!!!
