Mangaluru, Sep 2: National Consumer Fair (NCF) opened at Karavali Utsav grounds here on Friday September 1 with a wide variety of shopping stalls, amusement rides and awe-inspiring exhibitions.

There are over a hundred stalls at the exhibition offering huge discounts on automobiles, furniture, home appliances, kitchen appliances, fashion, footwear, toys, stationery, Ayurveda, healthcare and other products. Branded products of India’s leading companies are also available at the exhibition-cum-sale.

Nearly 25 variety entertainments including 3D shows, dragon train, Italian cradles ride, jumping frog, dashing car, titanic, merry-go-rounds, etc have been put up in the amusement section.

Snow World, Aqua Show, Bird Show and Taj Mahal are this year's special attractions.

The replica of Eiffel Tower is the another highlight. The 90 feet tall and 50 feet wide tower has been built using 20 tons of iron by 25 technicians and two engineers in just 60 days. Artist Shekhar is the master architect of this beautiful, colour-changing tower.

That's not all. What makes this year's NCF extra special is the 'Robot Zoo' featuring life-size replicas of animals from around the world. African elephants, zebra, Chinese panda, Atlantic shark, white tiger of Bengal, King Kong, lion, dolphin, snakes and crocodile bring to life the beauty of the animal kingdom.

The exhibition is open from 4 pm to 9 pm on all days of the week.
