Mumbai, Aug 23: Tara S Rao (55), Gokula Kalashree titled daughter of Bengaluru tourist hotel owner P Vadiraj and Jayalaxmi, hailing from Surathkal Bala and now residents of Kanjurmarg west passed away at Central Health Home, Bhandup west on August 22. She has left behind her husband Bala Subrahmanya Rao, son Sathwik, daughter Tripti Rao and a large number of friends and relatives.



She was an excellent classical dancer, drama and Yakshagana artiste and won several awards.

She was an active member of BSKB association and was also in the working committee for several years. She had shown her talent also in Singapore where her husband is employed.

Several people specially those from Karnataka have expressed their condolences on her sad demise.
