Bantwal, Aug 22: Mining baron and former minister, Janardhan Reddy, visited Sri Rama Vidya Kendra being run by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, at Kalladka on Tuesday August 22. He held discussions with Prabhakar Bhat, exchanged information, and took part in the prayer offered by the school children.

Reddy visited the school in the backdrop of grants from Kollur temple to the school having been withdrawn by the government citing rules. Reddy said that he was visiting this school after a gap of 13 years.

"I cannot sit at home when Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is facing problem. Therefore, I have come to meet him. Even if the government stands firm on not sanctioning grants to the school, we will make sure that the school will thrive and flourish. We are fully supporting the 'Bhikshandehi' movement, and me and my friends have decided to hand over Rs 26 lac to this school," he stated.

"The state government has resorted to a devilish act by snatching away food from school children, and it will face punishment within a matter of six months," Reddy said.

"This is an excellent institution that has instilled patriotism in students. The state government that is supposed to be apolitical in its manner of governance and the district in-charge minister (Ramanath Rai) have together played dirty politics in withdrawing the Kollur temple grants to this school. The people of the state will give them a fitting reply in the coming days.

"This institution is a role model for the entire country when it comes to instilling love for the nation and protection of Hindutva. I am proud of it," he added.

Mahesh Vikram Hegde, the brain behind the above movement, said that on the ninth day of the movement, a sum of Rs 38 lac was received in total including Rs 26 lac given by Reddy. He added that the educational institution has so far received 5,000 kg rice and that he and others behind the movement are confident of reaching the target of Rs 80 lac soon.

one has to do charity with money earned...not with money stolen.
if stolen money is given in donation, there will be two crimes, one is stealing , second is telling lie. knowlngly if any person receives stolen money as gift or charity, even the recipient will spend 100 years in hell....

In a cash-for-bail scam involving mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy as a lower court judge, arrested in the case, disclosed to the ACB that Gali's men were ready to offer as much as a staggering Rs 100 crore to secure bail for him. Earlier, the deal amount was put at Rs 15 crore.
Later Prabhakar Rao judge accused in Janardhan Reddy bail scam found dead in Hyderabad
    under suspicious circumstances.

Fury in poverty-stricken India Ex-state minister Janardhana Reddy is estimated to have spent 5bn rupees on his daughter's five-day wedding featuring Bollywood stars, gold-plated invitations and £2m dress.Daughter Brahmani's jewellery cost £10m, while her sari is worth £2m.

After the opulent wedding of his daughter post demonetisation, G Janardhan Reddy is at the centre of a fresh row, with the car driver of a state official allegedly committing suicide, leaving a note claiming he got Rs 100 crore converted into white money for the mining baron for the marriage.

In the note, recovered by police, Ramesh listed alleged illegal activities committed by Bheema Nayak, special land acquisition officer.

Janardhan Reddy who has amassed wealth from illegal mining business is his 'Bellary republic' is the main sponsor of BJP in the debut CM Yeddyurappa's Karnataka government.

He has accumulated so much of wealth that Minister offers Rs42cr crown at Tirupati temple for Tirumala from his illegal wealth and got cursed by the God.

So it won't be surprised when he can by judge for cash for bail, spend Rs 500 crores wedding donating small penny for Bhat school who has stopped practicing Medical and took up hate preaching profession.

His donation put him behind the bars, CM Yeddyurappa ousted from CM and now may school also will be cursed.BJP preach anti corruption at one hand and in other hand it hugs the corrupt with open arms.Surprisingly , no Adhar, Pan card is required for these illegal merchant of wealth.

This has no impact on the next assembly elections. The people who donate here are maha tax chori people. The Reddi looted the natural resources of Karnataka and AP. Now the next Congress government will check on the KPB on how these donations were spent.
It is all drama that the mid day meal is stopped. The KPB rejected the governement offer and become the self made style god man boss for the Kollur temple even though people of Kollur suffered and hurt by these developments.

Congress game plan deliberately failed here by withdrawing the grants from Kollur temple to a Kannada Medium school where only poor students enrolled. On one side this government speaks about Kannada on the other hand it punishes Kannada medium schools....something wrong with this government.
There is clear cut anger among the Hindu community about this & even other big hearted people are speaking against the government.
I think the Minister & the government misunderstood the case & it gave a clear cut upper hand for the Opposition ecspecially the BJP.
"Bikshabdehi" has really become a movement in the social media.
Congress downfall in the coastal districts clearly visible even in their own recent survey.

He was treated as villain only during BJP rule/ due to his support for BJP.
He grew up his mining business both in Karnataka and Andhra with blessings from Congress. governments. He had enjoyed goo rapport with former Andhra CM YSR Reddy for more than a decade. During this period YSR Reddy built his empire became a billionaire.
Overall the Congress got more benefit from Janardhan Reddy than BJP.
