Mangaluru, Aug 19: Listeners of Hindustani classical music are in for a weekend treat. Sangeet Bharati Foundation will organise a grand musical evening 'Megh Sandhya' on Sunday August 20 at Dhyana Mandir, Sharada Vidyalaya here from 6 pm.

Harshad Kanetkar

 

Renowned vocalists Pt D Kumardas and Pt Shripad Hegde Kampli of Dharwad will render a vocal music jugalbandi on that day. Harshad Kanetkar of Pune on tabla and Narendra L Nayak on harmonium will accomnpany them.

Entry is free for all art and music lovers.

President of Sangeet Bharati Foundation Ustad Rafique Khan has requested all music lovers in and around Mangaluru to participate in this programme.
