Mangaluru: Let Shobha Karandlaje donate from her wealth instead of begging - Ramanath Rai

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (RJP)

Mangaluru, Aug 18: “Let Shobha Karandlaje donate her wealth to the schools owned by Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat instead of begging people and collecting items from them. If she gives her wealth to the schools, it should be sufficient for many years to run the schools,” said district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai on Thursday, August 17.

He was speaking to media persons at district Congress office here.

“It is heard that Shobha owns a lot of wealth including properties. She was an ordinary woman when she entered politics. Why cannot she donate her wealth instead of begging from people?” Rai added.

“I came from a wealthy family and was rich enough before I entered politics. Let Shobha Karandlaje declare her wealth before entering into politics and now. I will do the same. If this information is made public, people will know the truth. I have lost a lot after I entered politics,” he said.

“MP Nalin Kumar Kateel tells me to provide free education at my school. I bought the land from my own money and constructed the school. I do not receive any government aid to run the school. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat got the land for his schools from state government during Congress regime. Those are aided schools,” Rai said.

Speaking on the ban on some organisations relating to the murder of Sharath Madiwala, Rai said that there are communal forces involved in the murders that took place in Bantwal taluk recently and efforts are on to identify those forces. “Action will be taken after the investigations are over in these cases.”

Politics is the richest business in India. Though is India is trying to develope nation Indian politicians wealth develope faster than stock market.
The current poverty line is $14 per month ($0.46 per day) in rural areas and $17 per month ($0.56 per day) in urban areas. In India, 21.9% of the population lives below the national poverty line.In India, the proportion of employed population below $1.90 purchasing power parity a day is 17.9%. For every 1,000 babies born in India, 38 die before their first birthday. Interestingly, 72% of the sitting MP in 16 the Lok Sabha are Crorepati.
    Here is the summary of our own MP;
Shobha Karandlaje in Lok sabha 2014 total assets RS 7,20,89,452 Crores
Shobha Karandlaje in Lok sabha 2013 total assets RS 6,84,40,947Crores
Shobha Karandlaje in Lok sabha 2008 total assets RS 3.33 Crores

Udupi MP is Nursing graduate use to practice nursing before she entered politics. Other than her parents ancestral property they are not from sound financial background.Ever since she entered politics her wealth is rapidly increasing which no other white collar job in India can get. Once can go through the astonishing figures from 2008 to 2014 to the wealth gain.

Kalladka Bhat who is on Kollur Mookambika grants has already left his medical profession ever since he started hate practicing. Udupi MP Shobha also left medical service for the politics. Single lady with such an huge turnaround portion of income donating is not an bad idea.

If Christian donation and Muslim alms, Sikh Langar can run successfully, our Hindu brothers need to think about their own neighbourhood who may need financial assistance than temple hundis'. Temple Hundi's are unaccounted. But individual donations can give some self satisfaction.

If there is no law to give money from temple to school, then make one provision in the law to give that. You are called law makers and that is why you are elected. Don't hide behind the name of law now, you just realized thisafter 4 years and we know how much law is followed by congress. You made some personal comments about Shobha which is not in good taste and i am sure you will get it back.

I feel sick reading Political news. Politician is a habitual liar, they are nothing but only to put other people to Shame, blame, disrespect for each other. Many politician should not blame God for the atrocities that has been created in every Indian state, we common people should paint the words "It's our fault" for trusting each politician before bringing you’ll into power.
You may place blame, give reasons, and even have many dirty excuses, but in the end, it is an cowardice act to not follow your dreams and promises that you'll have made to the poor people. Blame has no purpose, and it shows how lousy you Politicians are...

    Mr. Rai,

You said there is no law to diver temple money for mid day meal. Looks your comment is justified as every law in India tried to make sure Hindus go weak.

However, while stopping the mid day meal, you should have Plan B to make sure children wont suffer. You can make any amount of comments of Shobha or any BJP members, that wont satisfy hungry children. Remember that even your hardcore fans are not in agreement with your decision which made children to suffer.

No... BJP leaders will not get any money from party fund. If they want to make money, they have to do drama, brainwash people, use Gods name and mint money from people. It is their own responsibility. But, party will help them to achieve this. As an example, some leaders made money on building Ram temple... some are making money saying, we dont get Govt grant to feed children, please help, some are asking money saying, our outfit member killed because he was a hindu, please help etc.. etc...

BJP party will spend their party fund on opposition party leaders only for buying them.

Very good suggestion. Why only Shobha? Let her be joined by Yeddyurappa, C.T. Ravi, Ashok, Janardhana Reddy, D.K. Shiv Kumar, Kumaraswamy and their collective wealth would be enough not only for this school, but for another 100 such schools.
