Kundapur, Aug 17: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology celebrated Independence Day with pomp and gaiety.

Kandavara grama panchayat president Savita R Poojary who arrived as chief guest, hoisted the flag. College principal Dr Katayya explained the importance of Independence Day.

Kandavara gram panchayat members Ramachandra Sherigar, Jayashree R Shetty, teaching and non teaching staff in the college and students participated in the celebrations.

Dr Arun Kashi compered the programme. Physical education director Ramesh M proposed the vote of thanks.
