Gorakhpur tragedy: Man who lost child files complaint against UP health minister

Daijiworld Media Network

Gorakhpur, Aug 16: A father who lost his 5-year-old child in the Gorakhpur's Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College tragedy has held the UP government’s health minister, the medical education minister and the principal secretary (health) in Gorakhpur responsible for the death and has filed a police complaint against them.

Rajbar, a resident from Gopalganj in Bihar had admitted his child for treatment on August 10. In a letter he claimed that his child lost his life due to disruption of oxygen supply and blamed health minister Siddharth Nath Singh, Medical Education Minister Ashutoh Tandon and Principal Secretary Health Prashant Trivedi for the same.

He also alleged that post-mortem was not conducted after the child’s death.

The police sources said that the complaint is being examined and FIR has not been lodged yet.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government holds college principal, Rajiv Mishra’s negligence in performing his duty as the main reason for the tragedy.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has assured to take stringent action against those found guilty. He has also appointed a team of top ministers to ascertain if the deaths were due to lack of oxygen supply.

People expected good government and governance for India but what is happening is only political aspirations, to destroy the opposition completely rule the Country with their own ideology. UP government argues and defends their administration but never talk what pre-caution are in place. It is too late to deny and what is use. Fear of losing people's confidence? Should have conscience to admit weakness and do not try to hide or destroy proofs like the Haryana incident. Shame.

^@Peter KSA,whatever the danger to his life also is,I am sure he wont care it,since his child is no more there. The pain of loosing own child is much more higher than owns life.Good that atleast one does somethimg to protest against the inferior quality of health dept. And I feel that people are slowly getting the taste of promised Heaven .Simply cow shed,or cowhead.

Modiji is busy preparing next speech highlighting all the projects which are in the pipeline (not Tube) and the achievements taken place due to demonetization and GST effect.
Yesterday, on Independence Day speech he claimed some figures in Lakhs of thousands black money unearthed or exchanged to new currency and in the meantime NDTV through Economic experts declined all such claims, including Reserve bank. RB do not know how Modi got the figures which he claims to be.!

They hide their own mistakes by suspending those who said shortage of oxygen. Cheque was mainly delayed by the corrupt govt for bribe. New order placed on their own men 350 km away from hospital ignoring others without tender. Bribe is killing every one. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram...Jai Mata ki!!

Such a large state and yogi is too inecperienced to handle it ..best solution for UP is split the state otherwise it will remain a problem state for india but because of the number on MP's it will have a huge say in national politics which is a bigger problem hence focus in UP is awlays politics and nothing else ..
change it if you want India to improve split it by four states
