Sundeep's commitment floored Suseenthiran

Chennai, Aug 16 (IANS): Filmmaker Suseenthiran, who has teamed up with actor Sundeep Kishan in his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual thriller "Nenjil Thunivirundhal", is amazed by his commitment and his ability to deliver every shot in a single take.

"This is his first bilingual, and it meant we shot every scene in Tamil and Telugu. I was really amazed by his commitment and the command over languages," Suseenthiran told IANS.

This is the first time he has joined hands with Sundeep.

"I would first shoot a scene in Tamil and then in Telugu. He would not take much time to prepare and deliver the perfect shot in the first take. Even in the action scenes, he was superb. If not for his commitment, we couldn't have completed the film in 52 days," Suseenthiran told IANS.

The film, also starring Vikranth and Mehreen Pirzada, is gearing up for release next month. It has been titled C/O Surya in Telugu.

The movie was originally titled "Aram Seidhu Pazhagu", and on Tuesday it was rechristened "Nenjil Thunivirundhal".

Talking about his decision to change the title, he said: "The original title has been registered by Madurai Meenakshi temple. They didn't like the fact that we were using it. So, I changed it to 'Nenjil Thunivirundhal, which is more powerful and quite apt to the story."

Suseenthiran calls "Nenjil Thunivirundhal" an off-beat action film.

"Just like my earlier film 'Naan Mahan Alla', I have touched a social issue within the action space in this project. There will be raw violence but at the same time audiences will enjoy the romance portion. Vikranth will be seen in another career-altering role," he added.
