Mangaluru, Aug 13: It was a battle of brains at Bharath Mall here on Sunday August 12 as students from various schools and colleges across the city put their general knowledge to test in 'The Third Enigma' quiz competition organised by Bharath Bookmark in associaion with Mangalore Meri Jaan.
The second season of 'The Third Enigma - Be Ready, Be Smart, Be Noticed' received an overwhelming response, with 13 prominent schools and eight colleges participating in the quiz.
After several rounds that saw close contest between the teams, Sharada Vidyalaya emerged winner in the school category, with St Aloysius Gonzaga bagging the second spot and BGS Education Centre, Kavoor securing the third place.
In the PU college category, Expert PU College, Valachil bagged the first place, while Canara PU College and Govinda Das PU College came second and third, respectively.
The event was sponsored by Corporation Bank, Zuese Fitness, Barbeque Nation, and partnered by daijiworld.com, V4 news 24x7 and 92.7 Big FM.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Vittal Shenoy, deputy general manager (marketing and publicity, Corporation Bank Pan India, Nithin Shenoy, manager, Bharath Bookmark, Nishith Jayaram Shetty from Zuese Fitness, Rachan Raj, MARCOM manager, Bharath Group, and Waseem Shan, CEO, Mangalore Meri Jaan.
Abdul Ahad Shaikh was the quiz master. Bharath Raj Shetty and Ruhia Hussain compered the programme.
