Mangaluru, Aug 11: Farewell programme for the outgoing students was conducted at St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute (SAITI) on Friday August 11. 

Students were ecstatic to have completed the course successfully. Joseph D’Silva, proprietor of Bon Masala was the chief guest, Sr Emma-superior of Nirmala convent, Ullal was the guest of honour. 

The programme was presided over by Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions. Other dignitaries on the dais were Fr Eric Mathias SJ, director of the institution, Vincent Mendonsa, principal and Daina Fernandes, convener of the programme. 

Addressing the students, Joseph D’Silva narrated his journey to entrepreneurship and said that if one believes in himself and puts in the hard work, he is sure to get success. 

Rector Fr Dionysius Vaz congratulated the students and wished the very best. Convocation ceremony was conducted for the outgoing students and certificates were distributed. 

On behalf of the outgoing students, Reginald Mathias and Vinutha shared their feelings and thanked the institution. Retired driving instructor, Richard Fernandes was felicitated for his honest and committed service to the institution. 

Vincent Mendonsa welcomed the gathering and Joyline Crasta proposed vote of thanks. Vandana compered the programme. Students presented a cultural programme which enthralled the audience. 

A fellowship meal had been organized for all.
