Moodbidri, Aug 11: In a ghastly accident which occurred near papermill in the town, Rakesh Shetty from Siddakatte lost his life. The accident took place on the night of Thursday, August 10.

Rakesh was the son of Lokesh Shetty, president of Poonja temple managing committee. He was running a hollow blocks manufacturing unit at Siddakatte.

Annu Shetty, was was travelling with Rakesh, suffered injuries. He has been hospitalized.
