Mangaluru: Mock fire drill held at Mahesh High School

Mangaluru, Aug 5: A mock fire extinguishing programme was held for students at Mahesh High School, Kulur on Saturday, August 5.

The programme took place under the guidance of Kadri Fire Brigades fire-fighter Stephen D’Silva and his team. Students were shown various methods and guidelines on how to extinguish fire in case of accidents through mock demos.

The fire brigade team came along with its own fire fighting vehicle and accessories. Primary stage fire extinguishing methods were taught before the fire brigade team arrived to the spot.

Sports leader Rakshath welcomed the gathering and school people leader Preston Chris D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks.

School principal Dipali Shenoy and teaching faculty were present.
