Mangaluru: NSUI observes Kargil Vijay Diwas at War Memorial

Mangaluru, Jul 27: The Kargil Vijay Divas was marked by the National Students Union of India, Dakshina Kannada chapter, under the joint leadership of MLA JR Lobo and Youth Congress president Mithun Rai, at the War Memorial in Kadri, on  Wednesday, July 26.

Kargil Vijay Divas was observed to remember the brave soldiers who fought valiantly during Kargil war, in which many turned martyrs.

Candles were lit in memory of the bravehearts who fought for the country.



KPCC secretary Naveen R D'Souza , Mangaluru South block president Mohammed Salem , corporator Praveen Chandra Alva , DK youth congress secretary Varun, NSUI president Abdulla Binnu, secretary Ashton Sequiera, and general secretary Rauf were present on occassion.
