Mangaluru, Jul 22: The Muhurat of Harry Fernandes' new Tulu directorial venture 'Aanmage' produced under the banner of Sangati Creations was held at Hotel Deepa Comforts here on Saturday, July 22. ‘Telikeda Bolli’ Devdas Kapikad along with other dignitaries sounded the clap board.

Speaking on the occasion Devdas Kapikad said, "It is good to see Sangati Creations coming forward to produce 'Aanmage'. Harry Fernandes' previous directorial 'Noshibacho Khell' was a huge success. It is good to see a large number of people watching Konkani movies. If we present a good movie, then people will definitely come to watch it. Harry Fernandes has proved with his movies that he is technically sound. He has given quality movies to the audience."

Coastalwood's well-known filmmaker Vijay Kumar Kodialbail said, "Tulu film industry is all set to add another feather to its cap with the movie 'Aanmage' which is produced by Sangati Creations. Hats off to the producers who have come all the way from Mumbai to Mangaluru to produce a Tulu movie. Let us not forget people from Mumbai as they have contributed a lot to the Coastalwood."

Founder of Daijiworld Walter Nandalike said, "We are lucky and blessed to have Kishore D Shetty, Devdas Kapikad, Prakash Pandeshwar and Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, the four pillars of the Tulu film industry. Vijay Kumar Kodialbail gave a new lease of life to Coastalwood cinema with blockbuster film 'Oriyardori Asal'. At the same time, Konkani films are seeing success after some successful movies like 'Noshibacho Khell' and 'Sophiya'. Three producers have taken up the initiative to produce a Tulu and a Konkani movie. It is not easy for director Harry Fernandes to direct two movies simultaneously. We wish him good luck for both the movies."

Former president of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Roy Castelino praised the initiative of Sangati Creations and said, "We are happy to see three producers come from Mumbai to produce Konkani and Tulu movies titled 'Zanvoy No 1' and 'Aanmage' respectively. Someone should come forward to produce a Beary language movie. People of all religions can watch movies which could play a part in communal harmony in the district."

President of Kannadiga Patrakarthara Sangha, Maharashtra, Chandrashekar Palettadi said, "Tulu film industry has seen a drastic progress from the past couple of years. Nearly 15 to 20 movies are lined up for the release in the next 8 months. If any producer finances any project, he should recover his money after the release of the film. Sometime a producer fails as the Coastalwood market is small. Producers should have faith in directors. They should get along to present a good movie for the audience."

Manu Bantwal compered the programme and welcomed the gathering.

'Aanmage' is produced by Sangati Creations. The story and direction will be handled by Harry Fernandes. Elton Mascarenhas will be playing the lead role in the movie.

Daijiworld Media is the official media, TV and magazine partner of the film.

Director and producer Prakash Pandeshwar, Gurkar Mandd Sobhann Eric Ozario, Kishore D Shetty, Basti Vaman Shenoy, producers Walter, Cyril and Leo were present.
