Bantwal: Prohibitory orders to remain only in Bantwal taluk, lifted in other places

Bantwal, Jul 22: Prohibitory orders which were clamped on four taluks of Dakshina Kannada district except Mangaluru taluk have been lifted.

Executive magistrate of Mangaluru subdivision and assistant commissioner, A C Renuka Prasad, has issued an order, bringing Bantwal taluk under the cover of prohibitory orders as per section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code. This order will be in force from 12 am on July 22 to 9 am on July 26 in the entire taluk.

Prohibitory orders which were in force in the other three taluks have been withdrawn.
