Bantwal, Jul 19: The driver of an auto rickshaw who suffered grievous injuries in an accident involving his three-wheeler and an Innova car, failed to respond to treatments and passed away in the government hospital here.
Ramesh (64), resident of Annamoole in Vittal Casba village lost his life in this tragic accident. The accident had happened when he was riding his auto rickshaw towards Kalladka from Vittal on Monday July 17. The two vehicles got involved in a head-on collision.
Ramesh was tossed to the road due to the force of the collision. He suffered serious injuries. He was admitted into the government hospital here.
He did not respond to treatments and breathed his last on Monday itself. A case about the accident stands registered in Vittal police station.
