DR KAMATH. JUST BEING DR DOES NOT MAKE U GREAT. anyone taking life at gujarat or delhi is responsible for allowing riots. similarly one can't take his own life when he has dependents at his family...that too in temple. listen to spiritual books like GITA and BIBLE which are against taking lives. laws of land can be changed by hitler mindset but true and final laws are from GOD.

Some of the BJP leaders, members are killed. But this man committed suicide. Some people take loans and dont repay. May be they are taking loans to enjoy life. And the result suicide and their family will be on streets.

Mr. D'Souza, Please add this too :

In some drought ridden regions, the family head takes sufficient amount of loan, gets his daughters/sons married and then with the approval of family members, commits suicide. Because, he and the family members know that the government will compensate them - meaning, the loan got waived besides receiving compensation for the family to pull on.

A pathetic situation - whether to believe the above conclusion or treat the cases as genuine.

Taking loan leads to further commitments by way of interest, timely repayment and if default unknown consequence. Better to adjust expenses according to our means but sometimes people are compelled to take loan for worthy reasons.
Why Patel availed loan from several banks? No clue.
There are some people who take loan to maintain their life style. and spend lavishly.
They take from someone else and repay to first lender, and process goes on. It is true! Maha dongies.

    Mr. Flavian,

You may be surprised to know that some officers in banks call their friends to take loan and slyly tell them that he will make it such that it need not be paid. Gullible people take chances. The matters come to the fore only when the officer gets transferred and a new one starts calling the debtors to repay the amount.

This is a true incident here in M'luru and the new officer had to threaten legal action or auction of surety property, only upon which installments started flowing-in, if not suicides like this case. We have a very sick system with a few honest officers and many greedy officers vying for their share in such bad loans.

As per his faith, entering a place of worship is precisely after a bath and blood inside the premises of a temple (sanctosanctum is even more) is polluting. How come this gentleman thought a temple unclean and that too to commit suicide ?

Somebody gave excuse of marrying off daughters. We are in a time frame where we educate our daughters and make them fit enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with their husband to support him in earning a living. Daughters are not a burden, if so, you don't deserve a daughter-in-law who comes in and supports your son in income earning, she would have been a farm labour as it used to be decades ago.

Please understand, if giving dowry is a burden, receiving it is a torture to those who have daughters. Sympathy after somebody's resultant death is futile.

Whatever it may be, he would not have committed suicide...

Each and every person is going through some or the other problem and there are ways to come out of the situation . A big loss for his family as well for the BJP party.. May his soul rest in peace.

you are right.. marrying off daughters is quite a daunting task in these days.. as a society we must promote simple marriages so that the middle class don't look at daughters marriage as financial burden...

Not only the society, even the responsibility lies on the girl too... She should be well equipped with boy's charecter and his demands. There are exemplary cases that some girls last moment ditched the idea of getting married the boy who last moment made unwanted demands such as demanding huge dowry amount, vehicle, fridge etc.
