Mangaluru: Director Sooraj Shetty to direct Tulu film 'Ammer Polisa?'

Mangaluru, Jul 18: There will be something special in Tulu star director Sooraj Shetty's films. Coastalwood audience is waiting curiously for his next film after the superhit 'Pilibail Yamunakka'.

It was said earlier said that 'English' will be his next directorial. But according to latest updates, Sooraj will complete another film. The name of the film is 'Ammer Polisa?'. The title has already been registered. The shooting will start during mid-August.

According to Sooraj, the film will have a different subject. “There are plans of making the film with newcomers. New people will be given a chance along with drama artistes of the coast. The story, dialogues and script are in final stages. The film will be presented in a unique style. Auditions will be held before August. Newcomers will be trained. The film will have a new lead pair," he said.

Sooraj had plans to complete 'English' earlier. But lead actor Manju Rai is busy in another film. " It will be delayed. I earlier wanted to bring out two films this year. But now, I want to bring out at least one film for the audience," said Sooraj.

“I took a small break after 'Pilibail Yamunakka'. But, the search for film story, dialogues and places for shooting was in progress during that period. We plan to start shooting in August after completing the auditions in July," informed Sooraj.
