Managluru: A J Institute inaugurates Urban Health Training Center on 15th anniversary

Managluru, Ju 17: A J Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, a unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, here marking its 15th anniversary, inaugurated the new building of Urban Health Training Center at Kavoor on Saturday, July 15.

Dr A J Shetty, president LMET, inaugurated the centre.

Dr A J Shetty addressed the gathering and informed that A J Institute of Medical Sciences provided health care services in Health Training Centers at Kavoor, Shaktinagar and Pane Mangaluru, under the Department of Community Medicine, since 2002, and was providing services free of cost for all patients in need.





He also stated that the Health Training Centers were established entirely for philanthropic cause and all services were open for the public.

Prashant Shetty, vice president, LMET, Dr Ashok Hegde, dean, AJIMS, Dayanand Shetty, AEO, AJIMS, Abhilash PRO, LMET, Dr Sachidananda, deputy medical superintendent, Dr Prasanna, professor, Department of Community Medicine, Dr Pradeep Senapathi, assistant professor, department of community medicine, and other dignitaries were present on occasion.
