Bantwal, July 15: Bantwal town police have issued a notice to Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurpur Vajradehi Math asking him to come to the police station.

Swamiji, on July 14, had announced that he has exclusive information regarding the murder of Sharath Madiwala.

In the notice from police, Vajradehi Swamiji has been asked to be present in front of the investigating officer in Bantwal town police station on Monday, July 17.

Swamiji had said in a press meet that he had vital information about the conspiracy and other details in connection with the brutal murder of Sharath. But, would reveal the information only if National Investigation Agency (NIA) would handle the case.

    Vajradehi Swamiji to appear at police station on Jul 17 .. for what ? Is he a convict? Or he is on the verge of being acquitted. May be trying some other gimmicks to escalate tension ? Could be soothe the communal disharmony which has already zoomed to the apex.

    Or may be to introduce ANOTHER Section ...God alone knows ... literally, they must be planning one.

    ..well, do you know there was a LOKAYUKTA in karnataka which was role model for entire nation..people like Venkatachalayya/Santhosh hegde once took the charge..where is LOKAYUKTA now..within a year all the honest officer who are with Hegde was transfered..finally, it was made to die by creating controversaries, corruption..now its history..RTI activist are made run to courts, media silenced by threatening jail for journalist..and you talk about denotification, press freedom, intolerance..

    I find here certain things are gone wrong.First swamiji shouldnt have outed about knowing the whereabouts the death of sharath.when then he should have gone directly to lawyer or Police to tell about of it .To Police with a lawyer as a supporter.so that nothing goes wrong,and to help him.why public first?Now he is in danger of his life.Second police shouldnt call him to them,but immediately go to him,bring to police and get information,when in accompany of Lawyer.At present the need of the hour is immediately Swamiji should be careful about himself,note down the details whatever he knows,whether it is truth or not,which can be later seen,in a lawyers office.Police should give him the needed protection for the present.I see here the danger to his life.One never know what can happen to him tomorrow.Varification done later.

    We all want Sharath's murderer should be arrested immediately. If Swamiji having the information about killers why he is hesitating to inform to the police or disclose the names in press conference if his intention is clear. Now it is his duty to help the police to nab the culprits and give the justice to Sharath's family. I dont understand why you are so upset if police want to arrest the killers immediately.     If there is a truth in his statement he should take the call from law enforcement office and assist investigation. Law enforcement officers should also officially record his statement electronic as a proof of evidence. He should also give undertaking in written that he will not retract his statement and assist wherever and whenever till the accused gets prosecuted.
    But looking at the picture looks like villains from Tamil Movie. May be Karnataka own version of Yogi of UP.
