Mangaluru: Milagres College inducts student council, various associations, club members

Mangaluru, Jul 14: The inauguration of the student council, various associations and clubs for the academic year was held on Thursday July 13 at 10.00 am at the auditorium of Milagres College.

The programme began with invocation. The dignitaries on the dais were chief guest Madan MC police sub-inspector, North Police Station, Bunder, Fr Valerian D’Souza correspondent Milagres Educational Institutions, Fr Michael Santhumayor principal and council director, Cecilia Pereira vice president of Parish Pastoral Parishad, Ivan Fernandes secretary of Parish Pastoral Parishad. Stany D'Souza management member, Ronald Pinto PTA president, Cassin Rodrigues vice principal, Preetham Sequeira, Eva Manorama, student council officers, Anusha college pupil leader, Roshan Coelho vice president of student council, Hassan Razi secretary and Savio D'Souza joint secretary of student council.



Fr Michael Santhumayor principal and council director welcomed the gathering and led the dignitaries to the lighting of the lamp.

Madan MC handed over the scroll of oath to Anusha, Roshan Coelho, Hassan Razi and Savio D'Souza.

Fr Michael Santhumayor assigned the portfolios badges to the association heads.

Cecilia Pereira assigned the portfolios badges to the club heads.

Ronald Pinto assigned the portfolios badges to the class representatives.

Cassin Rodrigues introduced the office bearers to the gathering.

The chief guest Madan MC, congratulated the student council members and asked them to work with full dedication and honesty. He gave inspirational examples of A P J Abdul Kalam former President of India.

The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by Savio D'Souza.
