Bantwal, Jul 13: BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday, July 13, visited the residence of slain Sharath and consoled his family.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the murder of Sharath Madiwala was a heinous act. "Twenty-four murders have take place since Congress came to power in the state. As chief minister Siddaramaiah is the home minister, he should have held discussions with officials regarding the murder. People from Kerala are behind these incidents. Both ministers in the district are not concerned about the murder. They are asking to compete in elections. These ministers are trying to create communal unrest and gain in the leadership of Siddaramaiah," said Yeddyurappa.

"Instead of arresting the suspects of the murder, the government is arresting those who conduct processions and protests. Majority community will not get justice as long as Congress government is in power. All the Muslims are not bad. Only some of them are indulging in crimes. The police department and the government should stop them now. If not, this will become a gundaraj. Siddaramaiah has no moral right to be in power even for a moment. He should resign immediately. KFD and Popular Front of India organizations should be banned," he added.

MP Shobha Karandlaje who was also present, asked why the ministers of the government which has failed to arrest Sharath killers visit the house of Sharath. "Nobody can stop us from speaking. I am not the one who is scared of false threats. I am with the youth of Hindu organizations. My fight against fanatics will never stop," she said.
