Mangaluru: MPC felicitates Karnataka Bank CEO P Jayarama Bhat

Mangaluru, Jul 12: Mangalore Productivity Council (MPC) organised a talk on the topic 'Life Style' at SDM Law College auditorium, Kodialbail recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr J N Bhat, consultant doctor, Total Gaz Industry and Mangalore Nursing home said, "For maintaining physical, mental fitness and for managing stress, we have to follow correct life style. Prevention is better than cure. Early morning walk, physical exercise, correct food habits, avoiding bad habits, humour, good hobbies etc will be helpful in leading a happy and healthy life."

The P Jayarama Bhat couple, who inuagurated the programme were felicited. Jayarama Bhat has assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank and taken the bank to greater heights in the last 8 years as managing director. Senior chartered accountant S S Nayak and chairman of Diya System Dr V Ravichandran felicited P Jayarama Bhat and recalled the contribution made by him to Karnataka Bank.

An elated P Jayarama Bhat said that the honour should go to the 8000 staff of Karnataka Bank. He recalled with respect late K S N Adiga who employed him.  

Earlier, Shobha Ravindra Rao welcomed the gathering. P B Saralaya proposed the vote of thanks. U Ramarao compered the programme.

Shubha Jayarama Bhat, P Chaitra Bhat (Daughter of P.Jayaram Bhat) Savithri Rama Rao, P Ravindra Rao, K V Seetharam and B Prakash Rao were present.
