Mangaluru, Jul 6: Ullal Dargah administrative committee denied the allegations made by Sufi Hazrath Jwaja Gareeb Nawaz Jisti Association in a press meet held on Thursday, July 6.

Addressing mediapersons Haji Abdul Latheef, president, Ullal Dargah administrative committee said, "Ullal Dargah committee is functioning in a transparent way. There is no scam as alleged by Sufi Hazrath Jwaja Gareeb Nawaz Jisti Association in a press meet in Bengaluru recently. Beside religious programmes, the committee indulges itself in various community and social development programmes. The administration of the Dargah is done in a trustworthy manner. Anyone can check our accounts and other documents. The allegations are baseless and we condemn them."

"Sufi Hazrath Jwaja Gareeb Nawaz Jisti Association is functioning from Shivamogga. As per details available, the members of this association are supported by Muslim Rashtriya Munch, a minority wing of BJP. The organisation does not belong to Sufi group. They are misleading the community in the name of Sufism," he added.

"If the allegations are proved, I am ready to step down from my post. The devotees of the Dargah and the committee want peace. So I have decided to file a complaint and inform Mangaluru police commissioner about this fake organisation," he concluded.

Committee vice-president UK Monu Ismail, Haji Bava Ahmed, secretary Haji Twaha Mohammad and Asif Abdulla were present.
