Puttur: Rowdies assault quarry owner- Public catch a culprit, others flee

Puttur, Jun 28: A group of 6 rowdies assaulted a quarry owner at Kabaka near here on Wednesday, June 28. While one noted criminal among the assaulters was caught by the public, others managed to flee from the place.

The name of the quarry owner is Khader who resides at Kallandadka.

The gang of 6 persons came in an i20 car and started assaulting Khader. The public, who saw this, rescued Khader and caught a rowdy named Blade Sadiq. Later Sadiq was handed over to police.

Khader has been injured. He has been admitted in a hospital here.

Blade Sadiq faces more than 12 cases in various police stations in Karnataka as well as Kerala.

    Due to such rowdies the peace in mangalore is lost. recently many cases occurred but no stern action taken against them. Our law and order situation is deteriorating day by day. The Present Police Commissioner has to do something for rowdies menace so that people live happily here.

    wish our old British govt,back when you look at present situation.It is like a banana republic,noone cares ,Rowdy are on the front, corruption everywhere including ministers and pions.Noone is ready to work but money making without hard work.Hard workers have no chance .
