Mangaluru, Jun 21: Coastalwood’s first Tulu film with music composed by a woman composer, ‘Arjun Weds Amrutha’ is said to be releasing in July.

The film directed by Raghu Shetty, which is said to be a musical love story, is one of the much awaited films for fans. ‘Arjun Weds Amrutha’ is a stylish movie and is said to be on par with Sandalwood movie. The film is loaded with good music and comedy.

Raghu Shetty is making a brave attempt of making a love story loaded with sentiments in a film industry where comedy films rule the roost. The songs of ‘Arjun Weds Amrutha’ are already a hit on social media.

While a Tulu film with the presence of actors like Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar and Sathish Bandale can be only a comedy, for the first time, all these top stars will be seen in different roles. While they do a bit of comedy, they will perform more in sentimental scenes.

Famous music director L N Shastri’s wife Suma Shastri has composed the music for the film. Rajesh Shetty, Damodar Dhondole, Loku Kudla have written the lyrics. Well known Sandalwood singers Rajesh Krishna, Supriya, Hemanth, L N Shahstri and Suma Shastri have lent their voice to the songs.
