Abu Dhabi : Al Sitara hosts grand Iftar meet

Abu Dhabi, Jun 17: Al Sitara Gulf Contractors and General Maintenance owned by a renowned Kannadiga NRI businessman, philanthropist Mohammed Akram hosted a grand Iftar get-together recently for NRI Kannadigas and staff with their families at Ibrahim Restaurant Abu Dhabi.

Al Sitara organizes their iftar meet every year in true spirit of friendship, sharing and caring. The event was well attended by distinguished guests from Karnataka NRI community.



Mohammed Akram is known for his social service and association with all NRI Kannadiga events. He welcomed the gathering, expressed his gratitude to all for gracing the occasion. “Fasting is observed by different religions in different ways. Fasting purifies a human being physically and mentally by preventing man from all kinds of evils and instils spiritual values in his mind. Today, we live in a society which is shattered by evil. Vulgarity, fornication, immorality and filthy acts are widespread. Fasting can eradicate these evils and transform a man completely and enable him to lead a better life,” he said.

All the guests enjoyed and appreciated a sumptuous Iftar. Mohammed Sufiyan, Mohammed Saad, Mohammed Sabih, Tahir Hussain, Altaf M s, Irfan, Imran, Ahmed Hussain, Abdul Raheem, Saleem shaikh, Muneer shaikh, Ajmal, Khamaruddin, Rasheed, Lateef, Ahmed Pervez and Kamil and other dignitaries were present during the meet.

Al Sitara office staff Mohammed Ilyas, Faiz Patel, Sabastian, Mohammed Zaman, Faraz ahmed, Rashi and Santosh, Engineering team Shiv Prasad, shaheed, Siraj , Kishora, Naseem, PRO Mohammed Majdi and family made the event memorable.
