Nazeer Ahmed elected president of JF Riyadh unit

Riyadh, Jun 16: Jam’iyyatul Falah Riyadh Unit held their annual general body meeting at Paradise Restaurant, on Thursday May 25.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Master Muzammil Muzaffar Ali who recited a few verses from the Holy Quran followed by the meaning.

In his welcome to the guests Parvez Ali, thanked all the JF life members, office bearers of other organization and the guests, specially the chief guest of the programme Shaikuna Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, Kazi, DK district Mangaluru, and the guests Janab Haneef Haji, general Secretary of Muslim Central Committee, Mangaluru and Kutubuddin Naikwadi, secretary of All India and World Muslim Think Tankers who participated in the programme.

NRCC Ameer of JF, Akhtar Shaikh with the help of general secretary Mohammed Farooque Ahmed briefed about the work of JF in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts during the period 2015-2017 through a power point presentation. He also briefed about the various activities conducted by Riyadh unit in the two year tenure and shed light on the prospective work being carried out in Mangaluru by JFCC for the benefit of the community. JF Green View School has achieved overall 96% in PUC Exam during the year 2017.



An annual financial report was presented by the treasurer Haneef Panambur.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest of the function, Shaikuna Twaka Ahmed Musliyar appreciated the work done by JF and called upon JF and the audience to follow the Holy Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAS). He emphasized a few verses from the Holy Quran pertaining to helping the poor and needy and said that they were lucky to have this opportunity and a great platform like Jam'iyyatul Falah to serve the community, which will definitely reward them in this world and thereafter.

Shaikuna Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, was felicitated with a memento on behalf of JF Riyadh unit, by appreciating his dedication and excellent community services in the field of education.

Janab Kutubuddin Naikwadi also presented a power point presentation briefing about the progress of community welfare.

President of JF Riyadh unit Muzaffar Ali thanked the members and the committee for the support given to him during his tenure and requested the youngsters to join JF to carry forward the noble mission, which their elders had begun 29 years ago.

Shahul Hameed and Abdul Azeez Bajpe conducted the election procedure. A total of 26 executive committee members were elected for the term 2017-18 and ten new members joined the committee.

Nazeer Ahmed was excellent as a moderator of AGBM. He thanked all the attendees and executive committee members of JF Riyadh for extending their support to make this programme successful.

JF future projects:

• JF Knowledge City at Moodbidri on 6.3 acre land
• JF Skill Development Center
• JF Academy: To motivate and train college students for various competitive exams for IAS, IPS, IFS, KAS etc.
• JF Information Centers: Presently set up at JF HQ and in future planning to set up a similar center in all the taluks of      DK.
• Hostels: Plan to set up a boy’s hostel in Udupi Beltangady and other taluks which may benefit needy students. Plan to   develop girls’ hostel in Mangaluru.
• Family adoption: JF Planning to adopt 25 families from each taluk, who are eligible for zakat, monthly ration, free        health cards, children's education, setting up income source/self-employment and helping them to obtain legal aid like    ration cards, Aadhaar cards and government aid services.
