Mangaluru: Tipper topples over stone wall at seashore in Ullal

Mangaluru, Jun 16: One person suffered injuries after a tipper lorry engaged in transporting stones to Ullal Kaiko area, toppled over the stone breakwall at the seashore after its driver lost control on Friday, June 16. The stones were supposed to be unloaded at the temporary breakwall in Ullal Kaiko area.

A temporary breakwall is being constructed at Kaiko Kiliriyanagar. The house of a woman was partly washed away here a week ago. The work of breakwall started in brisk pace after the incident.

The tipper lorry fell a few meters away from the sea water. The driver sustained injuries in the incident. As the tipper lorry fell near a barge which sank a few weeks ago, several people gathered at the place.
