Mumbai: St Xavier's High School secures 99.67% results in SSC examinations

Mumbai, Jun 15: Maharashtra Board of Education has declared SSC results for the academic year 2016-17 on Tuesday afternoon, June 13. The percentage of passes among girls is more than that of boys this year as well. While the overall pass percentage in Maharashtra is 88.74% it is 90.09% in Mumbai.

St Xavier's High School at Borivli east, one of the high schools under Rayan International group of institutes has secured 99.67% results. Akshata R Kolthakar has secured the first rank with a percentage of 96%. Meghna Rajesh Antikad and Kriti Shah have come second with 94%. Tulu Kannada student Manvita D Anchan has secured a distinction a with percentage of 93.4%. She is the daughter of Mannagudde, Mangaluru origin resident Devadas Anchan and Attavar origin resident Yamini Anchan couple.

Mariott Fernandes, principal hailing from Bantwal said that all the Tulu Kannadiga students have passed the examination.
